Careers at LPRC
With operations and assets in most port cities in Liberia ( Buchanan, Grand Bassa County; Greenville, Sinoe County; Happer, Maryland County and Ganta, Nimba County), and a workforce of over 250 employees and 300 contractors, we offer unparalleled opportunities to work across the petroleum downstream sector in Liberia ranging from vessel discharge, product movement & petroleum accounting. Our dynamic work environment welcomes diversity of gender, skill, thought, experience and style.
The LPRC is always looking for talented individuals in many disciplines who are industrious, flexible, achievement oriented, enthusiastic about their development, and committed to working with us to build a career and contribute to our success.
Across the LPRC, more than 30 university students (cadets) are working in offices, laboratories and in every aspect of the business operations. Upon being hired, they become a part of a development program that offers unraveled opportunities to advance their career.
In addition to our Cadet Program, we also offer undergraduate opportunities and internship positions across our business line. Recruitment and selection across a range of disciplines is undertaken to coincide with university vacation periods.
Work at the LPRC is mostly technical as the emphasis is on the sciences. With Liberia in the process of reconstruction, the LPRC is no exception and is focused on hiring petroleum engineers, chemists, mechanics, etc.
This does not in any way suggest that those outside the sciences like Accountants or those in other areas do not have a place at the LPRC, a huge chunk of those at the LPRC are however those in the technical area.
