The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company is led by a strong Senior Management Team (SMT) with a rich mix of both oil and gas industry expertise. It successfully combines entrepreneurial and management skills with extensive financial, legal, and technical knowledge while fostering dedication to customers, along with high ethical standards as a driving force of the company’s development and growth. Our executives have a proven track record of leadership within high-growth companies and bring a unique blend of professional experience used to engage teams and drive success at the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company.

Ms. Nyemadi D Pearson is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company.  

She is a result oriented individual with considerable experience in public and corporate financial and administrative positions who uses keen innovative business strategy to maximize overall financial and administrative productivity.

Ms. Pearson begun her professional career with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry when she served as manager in the office of the minister; there, she helped to oversee the creation of trade policy, promotion of private sector growth and the revitalization of the Liberian Economy

Ms. Pearson also joined one of Liberia’s largest banking institutions (Ecobank, Liberia Limited) as Banking Supervisor responsible for daily operations and staff supervision of the headquarters. Thereafter, she was hired by the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) as the Training & Development Manager where she managed, supervised and coordinated the implementation of the company’s local and international scholarships and training programs for personnel of the company and other deserving Liberian students. She was later elevated to the position of Chief of Office Staff in the office of the President of NOCAL.

 Prior to joining LPRC, she held several other positions to include: Deputy Director of the General Support Service Department of the Central Bank of Liberia, Special Assistant to the President of the Republic of Liberia where she provided technical and administrative support.

Ms. Pearson has participated and earned honors from many seminars and training programs in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa. She holds a Master in Business Administration from Strayer University in the United States of America and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Management from the United Methodist University in Liberia.


Mr. Stanley S. Ford is the Deputy Managing Director for Administration of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC).

Mr. Ford is a management, international trade and Human Resource professional with over 20 years of experience in organizational development, human resource development, public relations, marketing, business development, and international trade compliance. 

Prior to joining the LPRC, Mr.  Ford served as the Assistant Director, Corporate Affairs, Financial Intelligence Unit of Liberia (FIU); Business Development Executive, Group Holdings, Liberia; International Trade Compliance Manager, Stratasys, Inc. Minnesota, USA; Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Liberia. He also served as a Human Resource consultant for several entities in Minnesota, USA.

 Mr. Ford holds a Masters in Management with emphasis in Human Resources, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the National American University, U.S.A.

Mr. Ford holds membership to several local and international professional organizations to include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), and Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), Society for International Affairs (SIA), International Compliance Professionals Association (ICPA), and Chair of the Board, Association of Liberian Human Resource Professionals (ALHRP).


Bobby G. Brown, Bsc, MBA, Deputy Managing Director/Operations.

Mr. Brown joined the LPRC 1997 as Assistant Product Storage Terminal (PST) Coordinator. At the refinery, Mr. Brown has gone through the ranks and file of the operations department. He served as Supervisor in the Oil Movement and Supply section; Superintendent, Oil Movement and Supply; General Operations/Terminal Superintendent and Assistant Operations Manager. Mr. Brown has served the LPRC for the past twenty-one consecutive years in various Technical/Operations portfolios.

Prior to his preferment as Deputy Managing Director for Operations, He served the entity as Operations Manager. 

Mr. Brown holds an Undergraduate degree from the University of Liberia and a post graduate degree from the Cuttington University Graduate School and is a recipient of several professional certifications in Petroleum Deport Management, Safety, Product Knowledge and Legislation from the sub region and the United Kingdom.

Wilhelmina C. Versini, Comptroller:  is a self-Motivated individual with over fourteen years of result driven professional experience with vast knowledge of effective accounting management system processes that enhances strong support for transparency and accountability of financial transactions.

Prior to joining the LPRC family, she served the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of Liberia from January 2003 to February 2018 in separate capacities as Deputy Financial Comptroller and Financial Comptroller. As the financial team leader, she was a Strong pillar for the establishment of an effective accounting management system that yielded the proficient use of the National Budget appropriated to the MOE and other complementary financial support from donors and partners.

She has previously worked with the Budget Bureau of the Republic of Liberia as Staff Analyst and Principal Budget Analyst and has been seconded to many regional and sub-regional organizations by the Government of Liberia to include the West African Examination Council as board member. 

She holds Master degree (MPA) in Public Administration from the Cuttington University Graduate School and a Bachelor Degree (BBA) in Public Administration from the University of Liberia. 

Mrs.Versini has earned several certificates in Public Financial Management, Budget Formulation and Implementation, policy making and budgeting, Public Procurement from professional working groups in United States, Africa, Europe and Asia.
