LPRC Oilers Basketball CampionshipThe Oiler Sports Association (OSA) was founded in 1975 with Madam Nelly Anderson as its first president and Hon. Cletus Segbe Wotorson as
its First Chief Patron.

Operating a football and basketball squad, the management of LPRC have continued to impact the lives of young people also through sports as they are empowered, motivated and abstain from unwholesome activities. These athletes or players have since become a model for others to follow.
  
Historically, the football squad has emerged as champions of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) national league four times, 1992,  1995, 1999 and 2005 and is on record of been the only Liberian side to reach the quarter finals of any Confederation of African Football (CAF) competition. They achieved the feat in 1988 after eliminating Panthere of Cameroun and Asci Abengorou of the Ivory Coast before they were eliminated by Gor
Mahia of Kenya.
 
The basketball squad has emerged as champions of the Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) national league five times 1992, 2003, 2006, 2011 and 2012.with discipline, sheer determination, commitment, desire will power and hunger to succeed,  OSA keeps pressing forward.
