MD. Pearson Tours Mobile Tank Farm
The Management of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) has embarked on an ambitious plan of inspecting all its petroleum storage facilities in the country to assess the level of damage with the intent to rehabilitating them. The latest facility that was recently inspected on Thursday, March 29,2018 is the Mobile Tank Farm located at the Product Storage Terminal near the Free Port of Monrovia. The Tour Guard and Operations Manager, Bobby Brown informed the members of the Executive Management Team led by Nyemadi Pearson that one of the tanks ( tanks- 401) was decommissioned over a year ago due to its dilapidated condition. " this tank is over 60 years old and has the capacity of 3million gallon of gasoline". Mr. Brown told the EMT.
